Participation in the World Dwarf Games (WDG) is open to all little people – regardless of athletic level. As DKS, we handle all communication with the organizer, assemble Team Germany, and prepare participation logistically.
No. DKS is open to anyone who enjoys sports and community. There is no athletic qualification. Anyone who is a member of BKMF e.V. can automatically join the DKS.
A working group is a topic-specific team within the German association for little people and their families (BKMF). These groups focus on special topics – such as sports, youth, or parental support – and advocate for the interests of their members.

Not necessarily. For training camps and events, citizenship is not required. Only for the World Dwarf Games is team assignment based on nationality – here, German citizenship or a clear link to Germany (e.g., residence) is relevant.
Our events and equipment are currently mostly funded through BKMF’s own resources and grants. We keep participation fees as low as possible. Travel to and from events must currently be organized and paid for individually.
